I'm the founder of 1890 Homestead, a working 5-acre property dedicated to practical preparedness, food independence, and real-world self-sufficiency. As a lifelong entrepreneur, media producer, and hands-on homesteader, I blend modern strategy with old-world principles to help everyday people build a life that actually supports them.

At 1890 Homestead, we raise livestock including chickens, pigs, goats, and Scottish Highland cattle, while managing gardens, food systems, and land-based resources designed for long-term resilience. His approach is grounded in experience—not theory—focused on what works, what doesn’t, and how to avoid costly mistakes.

Through our podcast, community, and training programs, we teach others how to create their own preparedness plan—from 3 days to 3 years—covering food production, water systems, energy, and survival strategy. His mission is simple: help people move from dependence to confidence by building skills, systems, and a strong, like-minded community.
